Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has invited applications for the 91 Young Professional Program (YPP) 2026 to engage talented and motivated young candidates in different domains such as Securities Market Operations, Law, Research, Information Technology, and Rajbasha. The engagement is initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.70,000. SEBI YP Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification:

(1) Young Professional (Securities Market Operations)

  • Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (2 years) in Management (Finance specialization) with minimum 60% marks
    OR
  • CA/ CS/ CMA with minimum 55% marks in final level
    OR
  • Completed all 3 levels of CFA (USA).

(2) Young Professional (Law)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) with minimum 60% marks.

(3) Young Professional (Research)

  • Post Graduate qualification (degree / 2-year diploma) in Management (with specialization in Finance) / Economics / Commerce / Financial Economics / Business Economics / Applied Statistics / Econometrics from a recognized and reputed university/ institution (Minimum 60% marks).

(4) Young Professional (Information Technology)

  • B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT/Electronics/ECE)/ MCA/ MSc (IT/CS)/ MBA (Systems/Analytics)/ M.Tech / MS (CS/IT or related).

(5) Young Professional (Rajbasha)

  • Master's Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor's Degree level;
    OR
  • Master's Degree in Sanskrit/ English/Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor's Degree level;
    OR
  • Master's Degree in both English and Hindi/ Hindi Translation from a recognized University / Institute.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 30 years as on advertisement date.

SEBI Young Professional Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly allowance of Rs 70,000 (all inclusive) during their career. Applicable income tax or other deductions will be made before payment as per government rules. Apart from the allowance, no additional allowances or fringe benefits are generally provided.
